My name is Dean Preston and I live in Tauranga - with my wife [Ali] and son [Josh].

I have been a photographer for several years now and love every minute of it. My photography is how I speak !

My style of photography is very natural and expressive. I want photographs to convey a sense of life. It's about capturing mood, expression and emotion through the lens and portraying them with artistic vision. I don't feel the need to over-process my images. A quality image is great because of the moment it captures and the skill set needed to capture it - not because of what's done to it afterwards. Basically, keeping things as real as possible !
